Mermaid Quay
Mermaid Quay is located in the heart of Cardiff Bay and is a contemporary dining and shopping experience. Designed to reflect its Maritime heritage, the whole area is an array of timber decking, balconies, towers and terraces housing boutique shops, bars, and restaurants with other tourist attractions nearby in Cardiff Bay.
These include the nearby Norwegian Church (Roald Dahl was christened here), the National Assembly for Wales, Wales Millennium Centre (a completely unique cultural landmark), Techniquest and the Cardiff International Pool.
With all these attractions and activities on our doorstep, Terra Nova is the perfect place to start or end any Mermaid Quay experience. Whether you are site seeing, taking the family to Techniquest, going to see the debating chamber at the National Assembly or catching a show at the Wales Millennium Centre there will always be time to pop in and see us for a drink or some food. Sometimes, we may even be the occasion itself and there is no better place to be on brisk early spring mornings, and hot summer days. Terra Nova on a sunny weekend is a site to behold and a vibrant exciting atmosphere not to be missed.
